Who voted 'poor' and why?! It's got good geometry in the composition, is in focus, good dof, nice woodland textures, framed by the tree...

Who knows; it is certainly a good photo. However, it is a shame you clipped the back of the spotters head - pedantic i know! It might be my monitor but it does appear a little over saturated.

a fold up reflector/silverised boulder mat may help with some of these pebble wrestling shots ;)

ah yes would have been lovely, but how much gear can you take before looking silly - after the pad and bouldering gear, a large camera bag, reflectors, small set of steps etc.
