Yes, a super historic shot in every way. That Hamish is in focus and you are not adds to the atmosphere for me, although I am sure that Chris did not think of it at the time.
The goggles are classic - they were the cheapest and we all bought them when we first arrived in Chamonix. Not comfortable to say the least, but I guess they did the job.

Was in just as bad a predicament on this hill the year before with Morty Smith on the West Face .Caught half way up in a very bad storm.
