seriously? i've gotta admit, i find this super inappropriate. The more attention i pay to the combined personalty of the users of UKC, the more i think i would Not like to spend a day at the crag with it.

I don't mean your comment. I mean your photo, and the fact that it's made it into the weekly top 10 coupled with the all the other times hundereds of other unnecessarily sexualised photos of women climbing. It's pretty depressing that when ever a photo of a women climbing is 'appreciated' on here its got more to do with how little she's wearing than what she's doing.

Got to agree. The fact that this is in the top 10 together with "Dru Dreaming" is pretty sad. At least the latter has some merit as a photo.

I'm surprised how little others speak out about stuff like this on UKC. Personally I can find innuendo and and sexual humour funny, and agree that climbing can be sexy and that is partly why we do it, but photos, comments and responses like this are at the less clever and more offensive end of the scale.

I didn't know and never thought for one second that my pic would make in weekly top 10! and oh I only climb and walk about in da hot sun with hotpants and sport bra. Sorry to disappointed you all :-)

No particular issue with the photographer or the photo, it's no different from any number of other Belayer POV shots. It's more the fact that this particular one has made it into the top 10 in the same week as "Dru Dreaming", that I find a bit unfortunate.

Don't be absurd. Plenty of Page 3 models support their "national institution", it doesn't make it OK. Besides, I have no issue with the photo or its subject, just those who voted it into the top 10.

Thanks for all the comments and yep what all the fuss about why made such a big deal of it. I have not got a clue about weekly top 10! I live in Scotland wearing heavy clothes most of times therefore I love wearing hotpants with sport bra in da hot sun and how many women at my age 49 still look and feel okay with those on? Oh also hanging on the cliff not lying on sand beach.

Reply to user planetmarshall, how could you compare my picture with dru dreaming! I was not standing on the ground! I am 49 and only had bikini on twice in my whole life and never topless in the public. I am proud of my climbing pics and there are everywhere on the walls in my place, hallway, bedroom, living room kitchen or even toilet! I don't have any pics of me with mini dress high heels or bikini on the wall! Believe me I look damn sexy with mini dress high heels on the ground!

I wish I never checked on weekly top 10 pics (just wanted to see what the fuss about my pic) and it made me angry 😡 comparison my pic with dru dreaming.

There are some great pis this week and your pic made me very happy, and I could not give a toss about the Sunday school teacher views here printed. It's great to see a fine older woman who has the confidence and security to get on with it whatever the naysayers might think. They need to pull that stick out of their arse.
