I don't think that is - I suspect you're looking down to Loch Etive, with Starav on the left, from the wee Buachaille or the 778m top of Bidean.

Hi Bob. You may be right. I don't know my Scottish geography very well. Bad weather and boozy ACG dinner at Kings House winter 1989. Next day with Roger Everett and Simon Richardson did Srong na Lairg on Bein Fhoda Bidéan or a name like that. Does that make sense of your identification?

That'll be right John, I imagine you got this view as you and your illustrious comrades came out on the top of Sron na Lairig. I'd very much the same view down to Etive just a couple of weeks ago from the wee Buachaille, but with rather less snow.
