Pines have blatantly been photoshopped in. Another natural sunset ruined by such gimmickry!

Wow, I half expected scepticism about the light on Half Dome, but not the trees! Anyway, a jpeg with the camera on its most neutral colour settings and only the contrast adjusted on the computer.

Right place,right time!

Indeed, and I very nearly wandered off down twenty minutes earlier because the light was so dull.
