Pre gondola a long walk in to a remote face compared to the winter cragging nature of Aonach Mor nowadays. Camp Golden Eagle or Simon chacal hammer on display I think. Great days

It's not compulsory to use the gondola!

every time I'm up there I'm reminded of the line in the guidebook about these routes getting put up without the luxury of the gondola access. Great Effort....and windy by the judge of the route names.

Typical Everett-Richardson outing. I came up on the train for my annual Scottish visit and was taken to this place which I'd never heard of. They started up a line and after a couple of pitches I asked where the route went: "don't know" came the reply. Silly me, I should have known that pair weren't going up there to repeat a route.
