So - what is wrong with this rigging?

You can stand on the ground and clip the chains?

Nowt

Plenty!
John Stainforth - 04/Apr/17
Plenty as John says.
None standard hangers, probably not climbing rated.
Only redundancy is in number of bolts.
Knot possibly non standard, fishermans around two strands not one.
Must be more?
Rick Graham - 04/Apr/17
Rope threaded through possibly sharp edged hangers. Photographer clinging to loose crud.

Apart from the horrible and unnecessary American Triangle, that looks like some very aggressive "gardening".
John Stainforth - 05/Apr/17
All. This is above an extensive ledge that has been stripped of vegetation and surrounding trees removed. Its about 20m up. The bolts look like industrial lifting anchors and if one strand of rope goes you hit the deck.
Its a BMC crag.
