Maybe something to do with the way the undercarriage flexes outwards on landing. Or landing in cross winds?

I would suspect crosswinds jon. Bit too close to being on the grass a few times.

I would suspect anyone landing there at anytime that doesn't feel "rather privileged" should probably not have gone. A truly magical place to visit and explore.
