That photo takes me back. I spent my summers as a kid working for the farm at the end of the concrete road in the left foreground (Toms Howe). I used to know that land like the back of my hand. I've spent many happy hours and days driving tractors around those meadows during 'haytiming'. My bond with Longsleddale was so strong that for many years I couldn't bring myself to go back...….
