Where has the Glacier gone. I'm sure it was there when I climbed around here about 30 years back?

The Glacier terminus has certainly retreated since then Sean, and is about 90deg out of view to the right of where I took this photo. This website shows the extent of retreat since 1985: https://blogs.agu.org/fromaglaciersperspective/2013/01/06/glacier-blanc-on-ecrins-retreat-france/
