A cold day with some flurries of snow. I believe this was on the Grutter Ridge.. I remember Alan was using an old Whillans harness and a gear line failed sending some gear down the crag requiring an abseil recovery. We did climb on the Pelerins and it wasn't on the Peigne. As far as I know he didn't do anything there and my routes there were with others.. I have another picture taken higher up which I will upload showing a steep crack. Would be interested in comments from those who have climbed on the Pelerins
