A depressing lack of snow prompted a spur of the moment decision to go for a high camp on Aonach Beag where I’d hoped dawn light on the north face would give some good pictures.
I hadn’t however anticipated atmospheric moonlight reflecting off the snow & had no idea the best Aurora for years was about to kick off.

You put in the effort, you got an unexpected reward by being in the right place at the right time - well done
