I think this shot gives you some idea of JUST how scary this route was in the sixties, when it had absolutely no gear and was graded "Severe".

I did this route on lead with about 6 months climbing under my belt, and although I didn't find the moves too bad my inexperience meant that I didn't manage to get anything in gear wise that I would have hung my hat on - felt like a solo and I shat myself - good route though
