A cold & windy time at Hamper's Hang. The sun just wouldn't come out from behind the clouds. A 12 shot multi row Pano stiched using PTGui: original pano measures in at 10,000 by 5,000 pixels.

Great shot, have you tried brightening the dark areas of sky at the top middle-left to make them more consistent with the top right? It'd be slow work with a 50 mega-pixel image though unless you've got a ninja PC but well worth it.
Still gets a 5 from me without the tweaks though!

nice shot chris. PTGui is greabeen getting into using pantool (patch)algorythim for contol pionts though as it is able to do twice as many with a increased degree of accuracy plus you don't have to orientate the pic first.
my only critism is that I can see some stiches but then I do have to look really hard.

This was a first pass attempt. A later version is much better. The process of shrinking the TIFF file into a very small jpg seems to have really emphasised the joins - strange. Exposure was tricky with the rapidly changing light - used same manual exposure on all frames and then used NDs differently on each of the 12 frames to try & control highlight & keep shadow areas bright.

yeh know what you mean once its compreesed they show up more. For min eof etive I used the PYGui sticher to put them all in the right place but exported as layers to photoshop. I themn reblended it myslef on the mask layers finally altering the exposure/colour balance to try to remove the lines. sort of works but you can still see them

On the second go I exported auto-blend and seperate tiff layers, then imported the layers for the areas which didn't quite work into the autoblend file and manually blended in to solve the auto-blend problems. As this is a multi row pano, this worked really well and helped to give good depth of focus from front to back.

I'll be acquiring PTGui I think.
