Great shot, love the composition and colour.

Fantastic shot Gordon. Shame about the awful artifacts in the sky.
ChrisJD - 13/Feb/07
Artifacts? None on my monitor. Are you referring to the clouds?
Gordon Stainforth - 13/Feb/07
Great shot Gordon, but you do need a new monitor,
kevin stephens - 13/Feb/07
Yep. Loads of horizontal banding in the blue sky (probably posterisation) as well as jpg artifacts all along the sky line. Viewing on a calibrated 24" Apple Cinema.

There's thousands of Snowdon shots out there, but this is the best one i think i've ever seen!!!
Bravo Gordon,bravo!!!
Carpe Diem - 13/Feb/07
They are JPEG compression artifacts, just adjust the level and type of compression you are using and they should disappear.
thomasbishop1987 - 23/Feb/07
No, you are wrong. I can't reduce the compression any more with this huge image and keep it within the UKC 120kb limit (I am using Photoshop 7, 'Save for web', btw)
