Climbing here is now banned due to rare precambrian fossils

I'm pretty sure it's more like climbings banned because the golfers don't like it. If you go here or to Hanginggate Quarry make sure you stay out of there way and keep fairly quiet. We wouldn't want to upset the golfers and make life hard for ourselves!

Climbing here is definately banned.
Hangingstone Quarry on the other hand is OK if you are quiet.
