I remeber this section well. More pull all you can on some slings, than free climbing? that crack on the right wall looked good!

That's how most people do this section and the one at the top. Free is only two moves at around f6a and well protected if you trust the ageing slings... Well worth the effort. Not that it matters, but i didn't use the aid points :)

Remember that bit, hard work with a rucksack on! Recall being against french-free at the time, would have made it easier! Like some of the photos in your gallery, looks like youve had a fair few adventures. wicked
