I mainly hillwalk, but happily climbed, too. A busted right knee has pretty much killed the climbing, now. I just don't trust it.
I'm best known here, from the RT meets at the Clachaig. I've now acquired a digital SLR, and kittens. An interesting combination. I need a bigger hard drive!
Especially as Vlad and I are training the new Joe Brown?

Interests Outside Climbing
Too many to mention. Obsessed with photography and motorsport at one time. Now I climb... Back into photography. 35mm B&W is the new way. Until I bought an E1 digi SLR. Now I can't be bothered with the darkroom... Hold the Phone... Bronicas are HOW cheap? OK, I've now resurrected the enlarger, and bought another E1, oh, and replaced the OM4 I sold...

About My Photography
Now gone digital with an Olympus E1, and 11-22, 14-54 + 50-200 lenses.
However, I've still got my OM1s, and OM4, plus umpteen Zuiko prime lenses.
I major in B&W, but I like colour too.
Some stuff now online, at:
I'm also on flickr.
I bought, then sold a pile of nice Nikon gear.
Still got the E-1 from 10 years ago.
Recently bought a Fuji X thingy with a couple of lenses. Small, and light. I like it.

Anything Else We Should Know
I'm now MARRIED to Vlad, with a 2 year old Joe, and I'm happy as...
The honeymoon was Hong Kong (fabulous) and New Zealand (I didn't want to come home...)
Joe is now NINE. And I haven't been here for a while. I may need to change the user name to Tim the WHITE nowadays.
