Confused by the UKC/UKH profile crossover... This section seems common to both.Things I like or have done:
Walking - GR10 (cross Pyrenees) over 6 years. Particularly detour up Mont Valier and in fact the whole Ariege section. Oh and the Bearn and Hautes Pyrenees too, and the year with lots of snow, OK all of it except the bit where I got altitude sickness. Umpteen fabulous days in the Highlands/Lakes/Snowdonia.
Climbing - easy stuff, Idwal Slabs. Some good days on the Roaches too as I remember but haven't climbed for quite a while except at the wall.
Winter - George on Liathach, West Ridge of Sgurr nan Gillean (with guide), glorious day on Tarmachan Ridge in hard freeze with views forever, up Ben Klibreck in blizzard last week then the pint in the Crask Inn afterwards :-)
And other interests:
Too many... cycling, gardening, sailing, knitting, cooking, learning stuff, music, films, drawing, and all the other things I'd like to do but haven't had time for yet.
