Owner of Gilligan's Isl, author of Inclusive Climbing Manual, James has spent 2o+ years working with individuals with impairments and disabilities, either though adventure sports or adaptive engineering.

He is joint co-founder of national inclusion sports charity in NZ as well as technical advisor to MOD, Leeds Beckett University/Battle-back centre.
