I'm a 28 year old PhD student at Leeds Uni, and live in Horsforth, Leeds. I enjoy most things outdoors, especially hiking, cycling (have a touring/road bike and a mountain bike) and in the last few years I got more and more into climbing thanks to a few mates that have been quite inspirational.
I can lead-climb up to 6a ish indoors, and lead a HS on trad. I can second up to HVS probably. I find overhangs still scary, and I know it's all in my mind (well, most of it!).
I'd like to get out more and am putting together a climbing rack to get out on the local crags (Almscliff/Ilkley) this spring/summer 2013.
I drive so I am up for day trips to the Peak district or further afield.

Best Climbing Experience
Not had many so far. Probably doing my first Hard Severe at Almscliff crag in July 2012.
Leading my first Sport 5+ in Castlebergh crag (Settle, N Yorkshire) in August 2011.
