Having always been a keen sportsperson, I had mostly focused on mountain biking and some climbing.Over the last 2 years I have become especially interested in trekking and mountaineering.
My experience includes a handful of multi-day UK based hikes and scrambles, the 'freedom trail' Pyrenees crossing self-supported, a couple of Nepalese group treks and an oh-so-nearly successful summit of Kazbek in Georgia which I thoroughly enjoyed.
My goals are to experience more difficult summits and see different parts of the world whilst somehow keeping my bank balance afloat.
I planned to do a winter mountaineering course in Scotland this year, but will postpone it to early 2022 now instead!
