Posted as biped on here for years.
Ex totally obsessed and inconsistent climber. At best around E2/GradeVI, occasionally harder and frequently easier. Trad cragger at heart, aspired to alpinism but never had the cojones. Sold all my winter kit a few years ago, can't part with my neglected rock gear.
Sea kayaking came the nearest to filling the same hole.
Still hillwalking, but spend as much time on two wheels as two feet, probably more kms done in France than here.
Best Climbing Experience
Sunny days at Polldubh, midweek winter solitude in Glencoe, endless wordless fatigued walk-outs in the dark, falling victim to sandbags, every first visit to a new place. Though good company always leaves richer memories than the climbs.
