I'm the joint training officer for the British Mountaineering Council and Mountain Leader Training England. A post I've held since 2004.

For the BMC I co-organise good practice events like the Student Safety Seminar, the Winter Lectures and the FUNdamentals of Climbing workshops. I also write publications like the Climbing Outside booklet and the Essentials series of DVDs.

For Mountain Leader Training I contribute towards the development of new awards, like the Climbing Wall Award, and am involved in the quality assurance process of award course providers.

Best Climbing Experience
I on sighted London Wall recently, which I was pretty chuffed about as it's known for ejecting peolpe. I then red pointed Raindogs a few days later. That was a good week!
