The Llanberis Pass is a place of mountainous majesty. Visiting it for the first time is a major event in any climber's life and even for those who've been many times before it's hard not to be blown away by the amount of rock because it's everywhere. Upon first acquaintance, it can actually be quite mind-blowing, as there's so much - both in terms of quantity and quality.
We had a few days at the end of February, managed to get 2 good days in the hills (Llanberis and Nant Ffrancon) and one down at Porth Ysgo in the sunshine, I'd forgotten how good the bouldering is down there, mega 😍
I was wondering where to go tomorrow and this has inspired me, I’ll be there with a big pad if anyone wants to meet up.
