Jacob Cook climbing The New Statesman, E8 7a

Jacob Cook making a headpoint ascent of one of the most striking lines on british gritstone. The New Statesman was first climbed by John Dunne in 1988 and today, more than 25 years later it has still seen less than ten ascents

Stunning video. Really well captured and a great ascent. My feet were squirming during that foot swap. Alan

What's the music on the Jacob Cook Vid (when he's climbing the route)?

Second video is excellent as well. It is great to hear climbers talking about their ascents in films, it makes the videos so much more interesting. Alan

Ben on Parthian Shot is the best short film I've seen in a very long time. Totally gripping.
