If you know anything about the skate and snowboard scene in New Zealand in the 80's and 90's you'll have heard of Trevor Ponting. For those of you haven't Trevor grew up skating on New Zealand's South Island, and when Snowboarding was introduced in New Zealand, Trevor made a career for himself as a freestyle snowboarder, pioneering the sport in the country. These days Trevor lives in Niseko, Japan, and after having been diagnosed with Brain Cancer last year, its been climbing that allowed him to use his body and mind in the way that a man that has spent his life pushing his limits needs to.
