Problem: Double Scotch (E2 5b) Camera used: Canon EOS 550D Date taken: 2nd June 2010
It is a shame the bottom 15ft of this and all the routes on minus wall have been bouldered to death. Spoils some great routes. After the big ledge, that people dyno to, (don't need to dyno, just climb up to it using technique, without having dirty, poorly placed feet, and relying on the arm strength developed indoors over winter, and the feet slipping around increasing the polish!) miss, retry again and again ad nauseum, and polish even more. The route is hardly polished and is delightful after this.
I believe that there aught to be a moratorium on people bouldering the starts of routes, especially on limestone!
