This weekend, to celebrate their first birthday, Rock Over Climbing in Manchester are having a massive party following the ROC Fest 2011. There will be an evening of dancing and drinking to the tunes of local band, Hold the Line, and resident DJ Dream Scape, held at Club Rock Over.
The 1 Year Birthday Bash is shaping up to be a fantastic event with over 230 competitors pre-registered for 11 different categories with over 60 problems set by Ian Vickers, Jamie Cassidy and Simon Chevis. More than 100 of the current entrants are Beginners, Veterans and Juniors who are all hoping to have an amazing day and maybe win some great prizes. Everyone is competing for a huge prize fund worth over £3500, made up of £2000 cash and some amazing prizes kindly donated by our sponsors (below).
Twists to the day include a slacklining and a fancy dress comp; the Beastmaker boys raffle; Chopper Harris's random prize giveaway; Big Tom pub quiz; Ryan and Simon shenanegans; Marje serving curry and beers and Little Tom showing off his dance moves.
