The forestry web site says that the lower red is closed this week , does anybody local ( or otherwise ) know wether that is the same thing as the one dot orange ? Loo ku nd at the trail map I think it is but I’m not really sure .
Yes, what they're calling the howlin wolf is what I was referring to as the orange. What I've always called the lower red is the Rib Rattler Red on that map. If they're using those names in the same way then the howlin wolf/orange should be open but I'd call to check.
