A recent rockfall at Tremadog has created an imminent danger of a much more serious rockfall on the first pitch of One Step in the Clouds. Climbers are advised to avoid the first pitch of One Step in the Clouds and Hail Bebe until remedial work can be carried out by specialists. The left hand retaining wall of the groove on the first pitch (in reality a detached a block approx. 10 tons in weight) is highly unstable, although this is not at all obvious when climbing it!
Please do not attempt to carry out any work on this yourselves as there is a real danger to other users and to the general public as well as the possibility of creating further instability on the ledges above.
