Hi,

Does anyone have a local mechanic recommendation in the Briançon area?

Driving down from Font today my van has developed a nasty noise and needs a new wheel bearing. 
 

I tried a few smaller places and a couple of Kwik Fit equivalents off the A6 enroute but none could do it this week. I’m hoping now we are here I will get it replaced before we leave on the 8th. 
 

Otherwise it will have to be loud radio all the way home to Halifax!

Jerry uses the Renault garage in les Vigneaux

To be honest there are loads of garages around Briancon and I would think it's more a case of who has space and time to fit you in. If your sure its the wheel bearing then you should be ok, if you where looking for diagnostics then maybe there are only a few who are really good at that.

The garage in Les Vigneaux are good but don't move quickly, tends to be a case of leave the car and they will get round to it when they can. Garage SILVESTRE ET FILS in Briancon is good also and quick but you tend to have to wait a while to get an appointment.
