Re camping above the Albigna lift, we rang the Albigna hut about camping last week and they said the only option is to stay at the hut. The hut has water, public toilets, showers and great food so is an excellent option
I agree with previous comments about being discreet and respectful when camping (bring a trowel). You can go up the patch for Guarda Ben/ to the higher south descent gulley, for 30m to perfect bivvi area with overhanging rock for the bags and sandy flat area for the tent (the path that goes up the sandy are left of the main face, not next to the rock). Other bivvi spots are eg below the reservoir wall. There is water just beyond the reservoir bridge, may also be water along the Passo Cacciabella
Also one perfect stone circle bivvi spot below Cresta Sud Pizzo Balzetto, out of sight of the hut (one hour walk up above the hut), next to a river. Boggy when recent rain
