Can anyone tell me what the conditions are like on Bowfell at the moment?
Planning a hiking ascent at the weekend (9/10th) hopefully up The Band and Great Slab.

Fresh snow down to mid levels currently, some of which will probably survive unto next weekend, but keep an eye on https://www.lakedistrictweatherline.co.uk/

Could be very different by then... But this was Saturday during a rare break in the cloud just before the ascent up to Bowfell from Crinkle Crags
and getting through that fresh snow was 'interesting'!
