Well, on my OS app it is. A small slice of coast just south of Pirnmill shows but as I zoom in to see the detail it disappears. I've used the message facility to ask OS about it but have had no response. Could I just delete the map then reload it to fix this? The rest of the island displays fine.

I had this recently and it was because I had previously used the code on a paper map to download the area.

In reply to Lankyman:

Their tile boundaries are screwed... The larger scale tiles cover the area, but the smaller scale tiles don't.

This happens sometimes with MOBAC-created tilesets.

That would be the West Coast.  It disappeared in a storm some years ago.

On the ferry at the moment and the whole Island is invisible.

There's a weird quirk on Castail Abhail. The summit spot height moves to a different ring contour as you change from 1:25 to 1:50.

At least you're on the way. We're due to sail Friday afternoon and it's looking like westerly gales. I'm considering the long drive to Claonaig to get the shorter route to Lochranza. Fingers crossed!

I hope to be up there next week and will check this out. Continental drift?

Apart from a bit of a dusting of snow this morning which soon vanished in the sun. This is I think the last snow patch. Been looking at it passing for a number of weeks now. Can't see any other and oddly it's normally Coire Lan but it's clear this year.

Enjoy your stay! Calmac have cancelled sailings today and tomorrow's forecast looks just as likely to cancel ours tomorrow.

What App do you use?

Outdoors GPS is fine. No issues between 1:50 and 1:25 either

OS from a code download on the paper 1:25 k Arran map.

Ah ok. I've never used that. You'd think the download would would contain everything on the paper map.

Normally it does. In fact, the digital versions seem to include an extra strip of coverage around the outside of what's on the paper maps.
