I started climbing in 2011 and have managed to get a lot done around the Wye Valley, Mendip and Bristol area. Currently I lead up to VS but I’ll second harder stuff if it’s safe to fall off, and my current limit of ability is tech grade 5b, or maybe soft 5c. I also enjoy sport climbing and can sometimes onsight F6a/soft F6a+. I've redpointed F6b.

For 2013 I'm aiming to onsight more at VS, and lead some of the HVSs and soft E1s I've seconded during 2012. Then maybe have a go at leading onsight something at that grade that's well protected. For sport climbing I'm aiming to have a better success rate at onsighting F6a, and to redpoint F6b+.

There are several people I climb with on a semi-regular basis, but I’m happy to climb with new people although I prefer it if they have a profile filled in -- when I’m looking to get out climbing I sometimes put a post on the UKC forum.

Interests Outside Climbing
I occasionally fish, also run or swim several times a week. I've done a lot of hill walking and I'm trying to work through all the Welsh 2000ft+ hills, but I've had a knee problem the last few years that's put that objective on hold for a bit. I've also done a handful of Munros, and will hopefully get a few more ticked off if the knee improves.
