Grew up in the northwest highlands of Scotland, but never appreciated climbing for what it is until half way through my university career in Edinburgh. Now living and working in the capital but I try and get into the hills as much as I can. I'm a pure bumbly and punter through and through but I don't mind! I just love the mountains, especially in Winter. 70% of the time I am out is just Summer/Winter hillwalking but I would like to work my way up the Winter grades as well as do some trad climbing, not just so I can call myself a mountaineer (lol), but so I can continue putting myself in incredible situations.
Enjoying running and cycling as well.

Best Climbing Experience
Climbing Svolvaergeita in Lofoten, Arctic Norway 2011. Getting my first view of An Teallach's pinnacles clad in wispy golden winter sun and dripping with icicles and snow from Bidean A' Glas Toul, Winter 2010.
