Started climbing in 1996; lead up to MVS on a good day (second VS/HVS) and second Grade 1V in winter. Steady temperament and GSOH and I've never dropped anyone yet.

About My Photography
Use a Canon Powershot 540 and would recommend it as a good intro digicam. Recently got a Nikon D40 and still finding my way around a dSLR.

Anything Else We Should Know
Sub VS leader but very dependable and competant. Second up to VS/easy HVS. Always happy to pick up new ideas or ways to improve. Swear a lot while climbing and always end a crag day with a pint in the pub. Took early retirement in 2011, so prefer to climb weekdays; keep fit sharing an allotment and voluntary dry stone walling for the National Trust and hedgelaying in winter.
Partnership proviso-although I am thoroughly reliable and do not mess people about my mother is in her mid 80's and inconveniently may fall ill without warning as people of that age can do. This is the only reason why I may have to pull out of any arrangements at short notice. But it's only happened once so far.
