Started climbing in 1996; lead up to MVS on a good day (second VS/HVS) and second Grade 1V in winter. Steady temperament and GSOH and I've never dropped anyone yet.

About My Photography
Use a Canon Powershot 540 and would recommend it as a good intro digicam. Still finding my way around a dSLR with a Nikon D40.

Anything Else We Should Know
Sub VS leader and very dependable, attentive belayer. Second up to VS/easy HVS. Always happy to pick up new ideas if you know a better way of doing things. Swear a lot while climbing and always end a crag day with a pint in the pub. Took early retirement in 2011, so prefer to climb weekdays to leave the weekends free for the workers. Mainly climb in Lakes but always on the look out for occasional partners for North Wales to whittle down my wish list there.
Keep fit sharing an allotment and voluntary dry stone walling for the National Trust and hedgelaying in winter.
Partnership proviso-although I am thoroughly reliable and do not mess people about my mother is in her late 80's and inconveniently may fall ill without warning as people of that age can do. This is the only reason why I may have to pull out of any arrangements at short notice.
