Learned to climb in Hobson Moor Quarry years ago but was forced out of climbing by a chronic mobility issue. Currently I mainly do indoor climbing at AW Stockport, North West Face Warrington, Climbing Hangar Liverpool, The Depot Manchester, Rope Race Marple, MCC Manchester, RockOver mManchester and The Boardroom Queensferry. I try to head out onto real rock whenever I can and am quite familiar with Hobby Moor, The Roaches, The Wilton quarries, Brownstones and the crags around Dovestone.

Currently climb up to 6c and V5 indoors and E1 5b outdoors (on a good day). I consider myself an average climber and relish the opportunity to learn from those more experienced than I and to have a good time with like-minded climbers of any experience level looking to have fun on the wall.

I'm an easy going sort who enjoys the climb for the climbs sake. I love to bring new people into the world of climbing when I can.

I really love how friendly and welcoming most climbers are and try to be like that whenever possible. I strive to improve but don't take myself too seriously when on a climb. My partner's safety is paramount and our enjoyment of the experience a close second.
