Best Climbing Experience
Vestpillaren on a beautiful sunny day with the calm blue sea behind us. Pulling through the tortured geology of Screaming Geo. Concrete Chimney in the evening light, the rock golden and glowing. Graunching up jamming cracks and getting pumped. Dawn sunlight over Scafell. Tense teetering up exfoliating culm choss and topping out into a bluebell wood. Dusty and delicate South Stack adventures. Tufa jug hauling on Kalymnos followed by sun, sea and swimming. Soloing severes on Grey Crag with no-one around. The total focus of a hard redpoint. The battle of an onsight at my limit. Moving quickly and smoothly over easy terrain. Pretty much all of it really!
