magpie
I've been climbing for about 4 and a half years now but have been a bit slack of late with any type of training so my climbing has suffered.
I've changed the grades in my profile to what I'm comfortable climbing (leading) rather than 'best ever efforts', it gives a better idea of what I'm actually capable of doing on a regular basis - which isn't really much!
I still have a very long list of places I want to go and routes I want to climb so here is hoping I get back on track and climb lots more, very soon.

Best Climbing Experience
Deep water soloing in Mallorca, doing my first outdoor sports routes in the sunshine in Portugal and being terrified on ice climbs in Rjukan. Getting spanked by 4a problems and 7 year olds in Font! Christmas day, climbing in the sunshine in Spain.
I like seeing new places and exploring. I'd rather climb easy routes and enjoy it than push my grades and spend a whole day terrified.

Interests Outside Climbing
I've been known to snowboard (badly) and cycle occasionally. I'm currently trying to get into running, for fitness. I also have a seriously compulsive habit involving make up and sparkly things.
About My Photography
It's a bit rubbish, I'm more into collecting back porn than getting great climbing shots.

Anything Else We Should Know
I can second a good bit harder than I lead, most days! Although that really wouldn't be hard at the moment. I've not been doing much leading of late and as a result I'm struggling a bit with the mental side of it and extreme cases of The Fear, currently only really happy to lead up to S, although I'd like to improve that.
I'm currently happiest seconding HVS/E1 level as it doesn't stretch me too much and I can enjoy the climbing rather than spending all my time worried about falling off.
