I am a second year Horticulture Student at Reading university. Given the distance from crags and indoor walls thers is an active student mountaineering club of which I am a member. They are very much orientated towards scrambling and single pitch climbing.

I'm a Mountain person at heart but have been converted to a simgle pitch climber in the last year. I've just been playing at it untill now but plan to put more time into training over the coming months.

The sooner my course is over and I can move back up north and nearer to some gritstone the better.

Anything Else We Should Know
I have the misfortune of being a student in Reading for 30 weeks of the year so the nearest crag is at least 2 hours drive away! I do however intend to move back up north ASAP!
