I was introduced to hill-walking on a school trip to the Lake District in 1974, and have continued with varying degrees of enthusiasm ever since. I compleated my round of Munros in 2009 and have no intention of bagging all the Corbetts or any other named groups of hills - I'm now enjoying getting out just for the fun and the pleasure.

Since moving to Crieff in 2008, I've taken to hill running and have been spending more time slogging slowly up local hills. I'm not quite sure why I've opted for this particular form of punishment.

Anything Else We Should Know
I live in Crieff where I run my own editorial consultancy with my partner. We're both keen runners and are members of Strathearn Harriers, and can often be seen pounding the trails around town.
