loose overhang

Started climbing in 1971 in Peak. Wales, Lakes and Alps until 1975. Moved to BC, Canada 1975 climbed in US, Cascades, Yosemite, Red Rock Nev. but mostly in Coast and Cascade ranges in BC. Occasional summer trips to Rockies, Selkirks, etc. I had an excellent trip to Scotland in 2010 climbing in Skye, Cairngorms, Ben Nevis, Central Highlands and Glen Coe.

Retired from work in 2013. I'm much more active in the mountains since then. Almost every weekend I'm out in the Cascades of Washington State and BC - peak bagging. I'm less inclined to spend time at crags than scrambling; I like the continual movement I think. Spent last week at Smith Rock in Oregon, USA. The climbing was very good. In addition to climbing we hiked around the canyon and ascended Squaw Rock.
