John Nuttall

Retired outdoor education centre teacher now with the time, the pension and the bus pass to enjoy life. Climbing 53 years and looking forward to many more of the same. Always keen to get out especially mid week if the weather looks good. Lead up to HVS, happy to second a bit harder.

Best Climbing Experience
Far too many to count. My early days on moorland gritstone, being high on an alpine peak at sunrise, camping under a mountain crag, yesterday leading Saxon again and really enjoying it.

Anything Else We Should Know
I am not the John Nuttall that writes walking guides. I am the John Nuttall that held Hank's ropes on Silly Arete first ascent.
