Best Climbing Experience
Being dragged up Malbogies in the Avon Gorge by the 'lizard' (Paul Tippet). Doing Astral Stroll with Paul Moores. Giant's cave with Al Hadnett. It's not fair you've asked me a question I can't answer! Best social climb was the continuation of the crack and F route on Gimmer with 'Q' (Kev Edwards). How pissed did we get in the Dungeon Ghyll afterwards!

Classic climbs. Also discussing when I'm going to get a grip and stop being such a soft twat and start climbing to my physical potential. Why I'll never do Clachaig Gully again! Just discovered bouldering: couldn't see the point before. Maybe that's why I'm such a crap climber; Love it down at The Climbing Academy, great atmosphere.

Anything Else We Should Know
I'm gregarious: in fact I'm completely barking. I frequently upset my friends with my antics; but my true friends know I'd do anything for them. Those inside the stockade. Life's for living to the maximum! About to have a hip resurfacing done so I can be even more active. Ummed and awwwed about having it done until I read John Alcock's profile then contacted him;cracking bloke: John gave me some good advice. Hip resurfacing now 9 months post-op. I'm able to climb perfectly normally with virtually no restriction; unless you count poor technique as a restriction! off to Spain this April- can't wait. Postscript did Spain: awesome Sella and Gardia absolutely outstanding. This has incentivised me to do much , much. more this season.
