I have had a phone call today from Ken Ratcliffe, National Trust Warden, to say that there has been a big rockfall on the Lower Crag at Gowbarrow (aka Yew Crag 414 205, page 236 of the FRCC Buttermere and Eastern Crags). This is the buttress that has bolt belays and is used by groups, and administered by Ullswater OB.
