So...
I've got a lovely gore tex mountain equipment jacket that used to be bright yellow but now its so grubby its a dark mottled brown! not cool..
Can I give it a scrub with warm soapy water? stick it in the machine? or just learn to embrace the dirt?

In reply to fig roles:

Don't wash it with any detergents. If you are going to wash it use something like pure soap flakes or Nickwax Tech Wash then Reproofer.

In reply to fig roles: Bung it in the machine with Nikwax tech wash. Make sure the soap drawer is clean i.e remove all traces of detergant and especially conditioner. When it's clean put it in again with TX Direct. Finally tumble dry it.

Thanks guys!
I don't have a tumble dryer but I'll do the rest, looks easy.

In reply to fig roles: don't worry bout the tumble drying- the latest version of TX direct is only something like 1% better when tumble dried (used to make much more of a difference
