This is a two week itinerary to Northern Peru – situated within the Cordillera Blanca. The first week we do local walks and treks to get acclimatised plus a spot of local sightseeing. Then we head out to the base camp for two 5500m summits – Ishinca and Urus. Following a day of skills training we then bag these two summits one day at a time.
The setting is fantastic, and the mountains are full on high altitude peaks. This trip is staffed with two leaders working at a ratio not exceeding 1:3 plus a medic making it ideal for the budding novice – and we provide all the technical kit including crampons, axes and ropes.
