We're thinking of buying a 4 season tent for use in the UK and are considering a Crux X2 Storm. Has anybody got one and what do they think of it ?

This has been covered before.

I have one and it's a stonking peice of kit.

Crux's after slaes service is fantastic as well. I broke a pole and they replaced it within a few days.

I have the Bomb and Storm, and they're excellent. Loads of room inside (I had 7 people sitting in the Bomb when it rained on the campsite and I had the largest tent!) and simple to put up.

Got an X2 Storm.

Pretty impressed with it.

Also had good experience of aftersales service.

Had no problems with poles, but a friend has also had asnapped pole. So this may be a weakness - or it may just have been one batch of poles? Maybe worth speaking to Crux if you have any doubts. they are very helpful people.

Cheers.

My laddy had problems with his Crux tent and snapped poles while he was travelling in the Himalaya and NZ last year. They were very good and sent some new poles over to him in NZ but when it happened again, he got a new tent! Sounds like it may be a weakness with the tent.
